These are just 2 adoptable children that Children's Voice: CASA, Inc. proudly advocates for. Unfortunately, there are many more Douglas County children in need of forever homes.

Nicholas “Blake”, born 9/00, is a bright, outgoing, positive, enthusiastic, sweet and likeable Caucasian teen. He enjoys playing video games, swimming, fishing, playing soccer, tossing a football and watching the Georgia Bulldogs play football. Blake also enjoys playing board games like ‘Monopoly’ and ‘Sorry!’, watching TV shows like ‘America’s Funniest Home Videos’ and movies like ‘The Fifth Wave’, listening to country music, especially that of Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line, and eating foods like vanilla ice cream, peaches, mashed potatoes, Honeybuns and Snickers. A great day for Blake would be one spent in the Smokey Mountains. At school, Blake enjoys learning about science and social studies as well as spending time with the other kids. He would like to become a cook when he grows up. Blake needs a loving adoptive family who will provide him with the attention, support, structure, encouragement and nurturing environment he needs to continue to thrive and reach his goals.
Jacob, born 11/03, is a bright Caucasian teen who enjoys traveling, hiking, playing billiards, playing chess, cooking and Japanese culture. He also enjoys collecting Pokémon cards, playing video games, having a family game night, listening to Alternative Roc/Emo music, watching the Cleveland Cavs play, and watching scary shows like ‘American Horror Story’ and ‘The Walking Dead’. At school, where he is well-behaved, earns good grades, enjoys socializing with the other kids and participates in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Jacob enjoys learning about history and playing soccer for his school’s team. He is interested in going to culinary school and looks forward to becoming a freelance musician and/or entrepreneur when he grows up. Jacob needs a loving adoptive family who will provide him with the attention, support, encouragement, structure and nurturing environment he needs to continue to thrive and reach his goals. His family will also need to support his desire to maintain his relationship with his brother, who has been planned for separately.
