CASA Volunteer Training Schedules for 2026

We’re excited to share our CASA volunteer training schedule for Fall 2025 and all of 2026! Designed to provide the required 30 hours of instruction, our sessions are interactive and meaningful, equipping participants to make a lasting impact in the lives of children in foster care.

Quarterly CASA Volunteer Training Cohorts

Children’s Voice CASA, Inc. conducts volunteer pre-service training in alignment with National CASA/GAL Association standards. Each cohort consists of five (5) weeks of training, including a mandatory in-person orientation. Training sessions are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Major holidays are observed.

Each session includes evening classes held virtually on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Orientation for each session will be held in person on the first day of training, providing an opportunity to meet face-to-face, complete paperwork, and ask questions before beginning virtual sessions.

We look forward to welcoming a new group of dedicated volunteers in 2026!

Training Schedule Requirements:

Compliance Reminder: All background check paperwork must be submitted by the first week of training. Fingerprinting must be completed and proof provided by the start of training. Richard Hammond, Community Engagement Advocacy Coordinator will ensure background check processes begin prior to training.

Virtual Format:

All sessions—except the in-person orientation—will be held virtually via Zoom, making it convenient for participants throughout Douglas County, GA and surrounding areas.
